Meet our Founder, Kagin "Kay" Simmons...
A proud retired U.S. Army veteran, Kagin Simmons—affectionately known as Kay—was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and now resides in Columbia, South Carolina with her husband and three children.
After her son’s autism spectrum disorder (ASD) diagnosis in 2023, Kay realized that true success wasn’t just about income—it was about time, freedom, and purpose. Tired of the limitations of corporate America, she made the bold decision to fire her boss and build a life on her own terms.
That defining moment sparked the birth of Wealthy Mom Squad—a movement dedicated to empowering women, especially mothers, to achieve financial independence and time freedom through entrepreneurship.
Kay is also the founder of Traveling with Kay, where she coaches moms and business owners on how to turn their passion for travel into profit. Her practical yet powerful approach has helped over 50 families create additional streams of income and reclaim their freedom.
When she’s not helping others build wealth and flexibility, Kay advocates for veterans and families through the Veteran Affairs Association, blending her passion for service, business, and family into a purpose-driven legacy.
